Just got it on Virtual Console yesterday. Though I still hold that it was an underrated game in its time with some very interesting mechanics, it doesn't hold up as well as I'd hoped. Still fun, but often tedious by today's standards. I had to put the controller down at two different points in the opening sequence just to wait for it to be the right time of day/night for something that had to happen before I could go on.
Of course, I think Ocarina of Time is tedious by today's standards too, so if you still like to play it, maybe you should give Majora's Mask a shot.
